Kathy has been very fortunate to receive ‘at the bench’ training from Craig Stuart and Malcolm Appleby, two brilliant teachers and highly talented jewellers. She is forever grateful to them for sharing their knowledge, skills and experience with her.

Kathy’s business has developed as her children have grown, working part-time for years supplying shops and attending craft fairs and markets. She made the scary leap into full-time self employment in 2019 and has now never been happier in her working life!

Kathy’s work is inspired by nature, by the views and scenery around Dunkeld, which change constantly with the comings and goings of the seasons.

She tries not to plan her work too much; she likes it to form itself, often inspired by the weather and topography of her morning dog walks!
